National Park Administration, the Bohemian Forest Mts. National Park Administration, the Podyjí National Park Administration and the The Bohemian Switzerland National Park Administration. It has been published since 1946.

Národní park (NP) České Švýcarsko je územím s vysokou lesnatostí (96 %) a minimem sídelních útvarů. Většina lesních porostů na území NP byla v minulosti založena jako lesy hospodářské za účelem zisku dřevní hmoty. Způsob a intenzita současného lesnického managementu je reakcí na aktuální stav lesa, který je do značné míry výsledkem zalesnění rozsáhlých kalamitních ploch vzniklých v 1. polovině 20. století a následného hospodaření.
