– přeshraniční spolupráce jako nezbytný předpoklad efektivní péče/ochrany území
Bilateral cooperation in Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland has had a long tradition, which has begun before establishing both the National Parks will celebrate 10 years (Bohemian Switzerland NP), 20 years (Saxon Switzerland NP) respectively. The cooperation is based on three pillars: on the joint natural space, personal relations between nature conservationists in the Czech Republic and Saxony and on strong (legislative) anchoring the cooperation. Nowadays, all the three large-size protected areas administrations, i.e.Bohemian Switzerland National Park Administration, Saxon Switzerland National Park Administration and Labské pískovce/Elbe Sandstones Protected Landscape Area Administration, implement a joint strategy in various fields f activity: documentation, research, monitoring, GIS, reintroduction of rare and regionally extinct species (the European silver Fir Abies alba, Atlantic Salmon Salmo salar, Peregrine Falcon Falco peregrinus), joint corporate design, etc.
