na dynamiku horského lesa s převahou smrku ve střední Evropě
Disturbance jsou hlavní silou, která řídí dynamiku většiny lesních ekosystémů na světě (Frelich, 2002). Stávající všeobecně přijímané vědecké názory zdůrazňují dynamiku a nerovnovážnost ekologických systémů, v nichž přírodní disturbance nejsou ničím cizorodým.
The aim of the article is historical reconstruction of the disturbance regime in mountain Norway Spruce (Picea abies) forests in the Šumava/Bohemian Forest Mts. in the past centuries, based on the historical evidence for the strong winds occurrence. In the past, winds were always one of the most important drivers, substantially influencing the mountain forest dynamics. The interaction between the wind and European Spruce Bark Beetle (Ips typographus) disturbance seems to be essential also for understanding the disturbance regimes in the above forests. Therefore, remarkable changes in the current approach for assessing the mountain forest dynamics are needed.
