National Park Administration, the Bohemian Forest Mts. National Park Administration, the Podyjí National Park Administration and the The Bohemian Switzerland National Park Administration. It has been published since 1946.

Palaeobotanical methods have recently revealed that the Doksy Area (North Bohemia) is an isolated hemiboreal lowland coniferous forest on the southwestern edge of its global distribution range. At the same time, vegetation is a relic from the early Holocene developed on the landscape scale there.

Habitat fragmentation and consequent loss of the landscape connectivity by transport infrastructure, particularly by highways, threaten many wild animal species. Transport infrastructure permeability for fauna can be provided by either underpass tunnels under highways, or by special wildlife overpasses (ecoductes) above highways.
